[Eyes follow that gaze, trailing up to the building lined with vines. Where potted flowers dotted here and there sway in the breeze, bright against the green.

And V begins, as he continues his walk-]


'As I wander'd the forest,
The green leaves among,
I heard a wild flower
Singing a song.

I slept in the Earth
In the silent night,
I murmur'd my fears
And I felt delight.

In the morning I went
As rosy as morn,
To seek for new joy;
But O! met with scorn.'

[A smile, wan but sincere.]

What a life it must be, to be but a wildflower in a city like this. Prized for simply being what it is.
